Best in-location display winner
J.R. Hoult & Grandson Ltd

J.R. Hoult & Grandson Ltd demonstrate the most complete and committed use of the Golden Charter Seal across the exterior and customer-facing areas of their premises. Unlike single-placement executions, their entry shows the Seal and supporting point of sale materials deployed in multiple physical locations across the building, including windows and entrance areas. This creates repeated, unavoidable visibility for passing footfall and for anyone approaching the premises.

Key strengths:
-
Consistency: The Seal appears across several touchpoints, not as a one-off badge.
-
Prominence: Placement ensures the Seal is visible from the street and on approach.
-
Integration: Supporting point of sale materials sit naturally alongside the Seal, reinforcing the message rather than competing with it.
-
Commitment: This is not symbolic participation; it shows genuine buy-in to the Golden Charter partnership.
This entry is a great example of how to use the seal to best effect, and we'd encourage all of our partners to do so too by:
-
Treating the Seal as a permanent trust marker, not campaign-led decoration.
-
Using repetition to build recognition and reassurance at the point of consideration.
-
Aligning physical premises with national brand investment and messaging.
In short, J.R. Hoult & Grandson Ltd show how the Seal should live as part of the building itself, working continuously to build trust with local communities.

Judging summary:
J.R. Hoult & Grandson Ltd are the clear winner for Outside of Premises, demonstrating consistent and prominent use of the Golden Charter Seal and supporting POS across multiple exterior locations, reinforcing trust at every customer touchpoint.

Best digital display winner
Gallagher Family Funeral Directors
Gallagher Family Funeral Directors submitted the most creative, confident, and versatile digital use of the Golden Charter Seal across the competition. Rather than relying on a single execution, they demonstrated multiple high-quality creative interpretations, showing how the Seal can live naturally and powerfully across different digital contexts. Their posts are visually distinctive, emotionally appropriate, and immediately recognisable as Golden Charter–approved.

Key strengths:
-
Creative range: The Seal is used across a variety of concepts, settings, and compositions without losing clarity or brand consistency.
-
Digital-first thinking: Every execution works well in-feed, is mobile-friendly, and designed to stop the scroll.
-
Strong branding: The Seal is consistently the hero, reinforcing trust and partnership rather than acting as a decorative add-on.
-
Repeatability: Their approach provides a clear blueprint other Funeral Directors can follow and adapt.
This entry shows how the Golden Charter Seal can become a living digital asset, not a static badge:
-
Reinforces trust and reassurance at the moment of online consideration.
-
Demonstrates how partners can align their own brand personality with Golden Charter branding.
-
Supports national brand activity by increasing recognition of the Seal across social channels.
Gallagher Family Funeral Directors set the benchmark for how the Seal can be activated digitally: creatively, confidently, and consistently.

Judging summary:
Gallagher Family Funeral Directors are the winner for Digital Post, for demonstrating outstanding creativity and consistency in their digital use of the Golden Charter Seal, showcasing multiple high-quality executions that bring the Seal to life online and provide a clear benchmark for other partners.

How to apply your window seal
1) Choose the position
Large seals: main window facing footfall.
Small seals: near or on doors
2) Clean & dry the glass
Use glass cleaner and a dry cloth. Make sure it’s dust-free.
3) Apply carefully
Peel the backing and place slowly. Start from the top and smooth down to remove air bubbles.
4) Press firmly
Run your hand or a card over the seal to ensure it’s fully stuck.
Done — your Golden Charter Seal is ready to be seen!
Please note, any POS is displayed at your own risk and Golden Charter cannot take any responsibility for damage to fixtures and fittings. Please bear this in mind when using your POS kit.
